First FNSI

My first FNSI didn't really go to plan!!!
  1. Extra Squid for a sleepover......they got the giggles
  2. An unexpected visitor.......wanted to chat. Don't normally get night visitors.
  3. A quick call from Mum..........good news up coming  craft weekend....yes.
After a rocky start I finally got some sewing done,
I couldn't really settle on anything tonight.

Couple of cobblestones to add to my swap

Laid out my UFO quilt & started sewing

I tried a pinwheel block Mum had talked me through....
what do think Mum????

So just a few things covered in my First FNSI!!!!

Good job! I'm still sitting here trying to get up the energy to sew. Looks like it might just be some cross stitching tonight.

I love seeing what others have done - I really like your pinwheel - I've never made one before!

Despite the unexpected distractions, you did get some stuff accomplished... good job for not just giving up!

Love the pinwheel... my favorite color!

Way to stick to it -- and welcome to the crowd! FNSI at my place was a great time. I had visitors too! In addition, the NHL playoffs are on, so dear husband was also nearby. These pinwheel blocks are just sweet! (and inspiring!)

I had that same problem on a FNSI. No one ever calls but that night I got 2 or 3 phone calls and NO sewing done. Your pinwheel block looks great.

You did a great job no matter all the interruptions. Sometimes it just happens. Still you did a lot of work.

Just dropping by to see what you did for FNSI. Nice pinwheel block, I'm just about to have a go at my first one of these!
