FNSI Jan 2012

Well here we are at the first FNSI (Friday night sew in) for the year.
Mine was not as productive as I would have liked, but I did get something done.

After laying out the kitchen window backing, wadding, top I started to pin.
This is not fun as the only space big enough is the floor!!

Must say I did finish this job the next morning, with a little help from my friend Tove.
If only he would bring them to me...LOL!

Now I can go and work on the
quilting when ever I have a moment.
Hugs Sandra

Oh that's an awful job on the floor by yourself. You have to teach Tove to bring the pins and the Squids to help pin when your Mum is not there.
How are you going to quilt?? In the ditch???
Love the new look and the hubby picture. I am sure my DH is straved. LOL

That is so cute but I guess he will not be so helpful if he gets stuck by one.
I gave up on the floor years ago and got a drop sided (both sides drop down) table that is waist height Only measures 14 inches wide when down.

Pinning is the worst part! I love your header photo.

Pinning on the floor is soooo difficult! I also had a sadly unproductive FNSI, but maybe it was something in the air. Your little helper is adorable!

What a cute helper! I think that getting the quilt pinned takes such a long time, so maybe you got quite a bit done after all :)

That will be a beautiful quilt! I don't like pinning either. Looks like you have a really cute helper though. :o)

I am enjoying the machine quilting, but I do prefer the look of the hand sewn, pity it is so much work.
