Here is the second star block from Solstice Stars quilt along.
This is my first block using paper piecing.
Once you get your head around working backwards it is quite easy.

Work is moving slowly on the kitchen windows, this part always does.
Didn't know how to quilt this one, so just went for
OLD 'in the ditch' and some stipling around the boarders.
Blinding is all ready just need to sew it on.
I like to machine sew my bindings, but this is a special one,
so I may put the time into hand sewing it.
Just a matter of finding the time in the day.

Working on some curtains/blinds of the theatre room today.
DH has done his part and put up the rail, now it is up to me to finish it off.
YUK making curtains!!!!

Great to see kitchen windows is so close to the end.... and that the theatre room windows will be too!!! Love the star block... so pretty...
