Here we are, one Kitchen window top finished!!
As according to the pattern.
I was thinking of adding a boarder of
flying geese using all the coloured fabrics.
What do you think??
Tomorrow night is FNSI, so maybe I could
get it sandwiched and start with the quilting!!!
All though I have had bad flu all week, it has come along well.
With the feeling of not achieving much over the last week
I did what very good crafty person would do..
Join a Quilt along,
called Solstice Stars with Fresh Lemons.
It only started today so pop over
and have a look at my side bar & maybe join in!!
This year I wanted to try a few different things,
point work was on of them. This was a good challenge.
Here is my first block using all sorts
from my scrap/quilt tub,
Will post on flicker tomorrow when I can take a better photo.
Here is some embroidery I have been working on.
This is a wool satchel we purchased in Denmark mid last year.
Now it is time to put some Viking knot work on to finish it off.

Sandra I love your "Kitchen Windows" just as it is. I think a flying geese border will be too much.
No I am being good. No new things, yet.....
Your star looks good in the fabrics from the tub...
You do such gorgeous stain stitch.

Mum XXXX
correction satin stitch, not stain. LOL
Gorgeous Kitchen Windows; I love them.
Tove (Scandinavian name?) is adorably silly-funny :>)
Cheers!
Jeanneke.
I hope you are feeling better.
Love the windows as they are too. Pointy bits would be too distracting for the eye.
I'm restricting, well trying to, the number of things I join in this year. I already have one I am behind in and it isn't even the end of January yet.
Really want to see the satchel when it is finished.
Hugs
